During the Sabbath I was Spiritually fed. The intake of Spiritual Nourishment truly dictates ones activity choices for the week. Spiritual and Mental nourishment create a conduit to Holistic living. On a Mindful Monday, it is important to underscore that not everything we consume comes from the kitchen. We also consume: social media, television, conversations, gossip, news, music & movies, and online content that primarily promotes dysfunction.
If you constantly feed your mind stress, negativity, fear, and comparison, your emotional wellness will suffer. Many people today are emotionally exhausted not because of physical work, but because of mental overload. Mindful mental consumption means protecting your peace. This may mean people that are classified as your village or inner circle. To shift from a poor mindset to a growth mindset ask yourself the following questions:
